I'm leaving Thursday for the big apple. Going on a trip with my Professional Practices class. We are going to stay in a hostel, which looks cramped but clean so it's ok. I'm going to see two shows, Phantom of the Opera and Shrek the Musical! I am so excited I keep bursting into song. GAHHH! Can I go now please?
Anyone have any suggestions about good places to eat in the city that are also a good price?
We are going to go to a lot of art galleries and museums, including my favorite...the Met. Oh god I would live there if they would let me or if I was brave enough to evade guards each night.

Classes are going pretty well. I'm really enjoying photography. I should upload some of my photos...I guess I'll scan some in sometime. I never upload any of my college art. hm
I LOVE my voice classes. I'm taking two. One is Voice Production 2, which is basically a voice acting class, and the other is Applied Voice, which is for the singing voice. I perform on November 18th for the music department...I'm not sure when Jury is. That's like the final exam, but I get to sing in front of music professors while they judge me. Yay. I get to pick one of my songs that I learned this semester and they get to pick one. Fun stuff.

Oh goodness. I just remembered. Registration for next semester is MONDAY. OOoooo!

I've been going on walks and having adventures meeting wonderful and weird people... like the old guy on a bike off in the woods who was burying something with his foot under a big rock. I looked over at him and he said "Don't tell anyone." And then there was a guy today who looked at me from under his glasses and yelled in my face "HEY!" Yeahhh. I get to see a lot of dogs though! haha. OH! And I found four Pigma Micron pens on the ground one day. Two were kinda dry, but the other two work ok.

A new semester has begun! My schedule is nice and busy again and I've been painting and getting everything together. Everything meaning resumes, artist statements, trying to create a professional website. All that nice stuff that I need to do since I'm ending my college career. I am currently looking at grad schools.

I should really put up some of my paintings and fine art on here, but I guess I am using this as a fun art display. ^_^

I wish my tablet hadn't broken. I really miss it. I want to do all of these things with photoshop and I just can't because of tablet death. ;_;

It's summer vacation now. ^_^ I'm home now and have pretty busy so my summer has kinda been flying. Oh noes summer come back! O_O;
I've been trying to work on some of my projects but I'm only able to do little bits here and there. I recently uploaded two images based on the same story.

Let's see...
I went to Animazement. It was held in the new Raleigh convention center and everyone was a bit scattered with the new place. Everyone was trying to figure out where to go and such, but it was fun. I got some neat stuff.
I went to the beach and managed not to get burned except on the very tips of my knees. I find it a strange place to get sunburn, but it didn't REALLY hurt so I haven't been counting it. It just slightly stung if I ran my fingers over it and it faded in a day. I swam in the ocean and dug a big hole with my sister. We unearthed a rather large and very FAST crab in the process.
The end of tv has come for me. My parents haven't gotten a box and aren't planning to either so the tv is dead to us. We have only been watching movies and stuff. It kinda feels like the end of the world when all of the signals are dead and everything. It's a little scary. I don't really miss it all that much though. We got crappy signals anyway for only a few stations. My parents refuse to get cable or anything. They don't believe in paying for tv.

Oh and I just realized that since I updated my journal last I have turned 22. =3

Oh and now I love star trek. My friends took me opening day to see the movie and I was like I REALLY like this! So now I'm watching the original series online. <3

And my Mood may say I'm "thrilled" on here, but that's only left over from my last journal. For some reason I can't change it. :[?

Hey! I have been without the internet for over a month on my computer. It's a long story with lots of drugs, sex, and murder so I doubt that you would be interested.
But it's been terrible. I was having to bum off of my room mate's computer. Her internet was working. I had to go to the computer labs on campus to do major things on the internet. I couldn't skype on IM anyone. ;_;
But I JUST got it fixed, so I'm happy now. Very very very happy.

Spring break was last week. I got back to town yesterday afternoon. The past two weeks have had really strange weather. We had a ton of snow and ice, causing us to miss a day of school and have a late start the next. Then the weather got really nice and warm and sunny. And now it's all rainy, cloudy, cool, and gray. Make up your mind mother nature.

Next week is my Birthday!
I'm going to be 22 on the 22nd. It only happens once, so I'm excited about it.
I have no plans though. -_-

Oh. I got a hamster.
That is also a long story. It seems like it shouldn't be so, but it is.

I went to the midnight showing of Watchmen when it came out. I loved it. I thought they did a good job at bringing such a complex graphic novel to life.
I am determined to find Rorschach and hug him. He needs one more than anyone I have ever seen. <3

I'll be attending Animazement again in May. Yayyy!

Happy Inauguration Day! It snowed, so one of my classes was canceled. My professor sent us an email that his driveway was too slippery and the recommended watching History take place instead. lol.
The stuff has actually started already, but Obama doesn't do his thing till 12. I've got it playing in the other room.

If anyone knows how to fix a tablet, I would be so very very grateful to you! If you can tell me how to fix it and it works, I will draw you anything your heart desires...within reason. I'm not going to recreate for you the Sistine Chapel. DX

Ok. I forgot to mention this in my last journal post, but I got Okami for Christmas and it's AWESOME! I love everything about that game! It's got really unique and beautiful art. It looks like a Japanese print.

Does Not Contain Spoilers! Everything I tell you is just in the beginning...

In case you don't know about it, it's about a wolf. hehe. The story is about a brave hero and wolf who stand up against a terrible monster. They defeat the monster, but the wolf dies in the act and has a shrine built for it. 100 years pass and the monster is released once more. The wolf's statue comes to life and is a god with cool markings. You play as the wolf, setting things right throughout the land and defeating monsters. You can cast spells by drawing with the Celestial Brush, which I think is it's tale. lol. It's really cool that you actually can draw whatever you want. In fact, that's one of the little side games.

It's a lot of fun and very addictive.
